Wildlife filmmaker, National Geographic Explorer, and star of Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory

Bertie Gregory is a British wildlife filmmaker and National Geographic Explorer. He is currently hosting a new show for Disney+ titled Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory.

Geoffrey Hinton

British-Canadian computer scientist and cognitive psychologist

We're thrilled to welcome Geoffrey Hinton, trailblazing computer scientist who is often called the "godfather of AI," who will deliver a pivotal keynote at this year's summit. In addition to his illustrious academic career and a 10-year research and design role at Google, Hinton pioneered the neural networks powering today's artificial intelligence and remains one of the most respected voices in the field. Hinton's talk will discuss the risks of AI, as the technology evolves and becomes smarter, and why he's calling for caution in the face of a potential existential threat.

Domee Shi

Domee Shi began her career as a story artist on the Academy Award-winning film Inside Out. She has since worked on The Good Dinosaur, Incredibles 2, and the Academy Award-winning Toy Story 4. In 2015, Shi began pitching ideas for short films and was soon greenlit to write and direct Bao, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. As a creative vice-president, Shi is involved in key creative decision-making at the studio and consults on films in development and production. A Sheridan College graduate, she most recently made her feature film directorial debut with Turning Red, which was released on Disney+ on March 11, 2022.
